World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development


In 2001, UNESCO adopted the Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity and in December 2002, the UN General Assembly, in its resolution 57/249, declared May 21 to be the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.

The day provides us with an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the values of cultural diversity and to learn to live together better.


Competition for Journalists “Conflicts and Their Effect on Human Rights”


On May 6, 2015, the Public Defender awarded journalists who won the competition “Conflicts and their effect on human rights”.

The competition was held with the support of the European Union and aimed at encouraging journalists to cover problems of conflict-affected population and to initiate a discussion on ways of peaceful resolution of conflicts.


Camp "Sources of Tolerance 2015"


ACICC is pleased to announce that the organization "World of Tolerance" for the third time since 2012 has the opportunity to hold a summer camp "Sources of Tolerance". This time it was made possible by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, for which ACICC expresses its deep gratitude.


MINORITIES NETWORK Eastern Partnership - Subgrantees report


On 03.02.2015, Analytical Center for Interethnic Cooperation and Consultations has announced a call for proposals on Carrying out the information campaign promoting Eastern Partnership within Ethnic Minority Communities. The aim of the call was to provide an opportunity for NGOs to apply advocacy knowledge skills they have gained by implementing in-country campaigns, contributing to raising EaP awareness of target communities.  Campaign aims to raise minority awareness of the EaP and how their participation will benefit them & wider communities.

SUMMER COURSE - The European System of Human Rights Protection

The Viadrina European University, refounded in 1991, began its first academic year in 1992, continuing the fine tradition of the first State University of Brandenburg (Alma Mater Viadrina, 1506 – 1811). Today it especially endeavours to face the challenge of a newly open and expanded Europe.

In co-operation with Polish and other affiliated European universities, the Viadrina, due to its unique geography and history, plays a special role as a bridge between Eastern and Western Europe. The University’s Faculties go beyond the confines of their own disciplines, so as to work together to meet challenges involved in building a common European house.

 Deloitte Consulting Overseas Project announces grant competition "accounting results of dialogue between the private and public sectors" Deadline for application is May 30, 2015, at 18:00. G4G provides for the issuance of a grant of US $ 95,000.00. G4G (Governing for Growth) is a five-year project, funded by USAID which is carried out Georgia since August 2014, by Deloitte Consulting LLP.

HUMRA – Research

ACICC  2014-05-05

HUMRA – Human Rights Animation. Research Report. From April 15 to May 15, 2014 Analytical Center for Interethnic Cooperation and Consultations (ACICC) conducted research in the framework of the project HUMRA – Human Rights Animation. Target group of the research were teachers and youngsters. Research activities were undertaken separately for each target groups as result of which were interviewed 30 teachers and 100 youngsters.

 Report of the Public Defender of Georgia on Human Rights Situation in Georgia for 2012

On March 30, 2013 Ucha Nanuashvili, the Public Defender of Georgia presented the Report on Human Rights Situation in Georgia for 2012 to the Parliament of Georgia. 
The report addresses wide spectrum of human rights and fundamental freedoms and discusses main tendencies in protecting civil and political as well as economic, social and cultural rights in Georgia. 
The year of 2012 was very important in the history of Georgia. Elections of 2012 marked the first peaceful transition of power since independence.   
Significant improvement in human rights situation in various spheres has been detected since elections in Georgia. However, number of serious problems still remains.
