"Sources of Tolerance. Caucasus 2015" has successfully finished!


"Analytical Center for Interethnic Cooperation and Consultations" congratulates partner organization "World of Tolerance" for successfully holding third multi ethnic children's camp "Sourses of Tolerance - Caucasus 2015". 

This time «Sources of Tolerance" brought together representatives from eight different ethnic groups. 


Coalition of women's NGO's - Informational meeting


 The Coalition of Women's NGOs representatives of the ethnic (religious) minorities in held informational meetings  in various sectors for Women. The main goal of meeting was  establishing European Values, between  women, representatives religious and ethnic minorities.

RFP: Gender Assessment of Agriculture and Local Development Syst

The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) plans to procure Gender Assessment of Agriculture and Local Development Systems as described in this Request for Proposal and its related annexes. UN Women now invites proposals from qualified proposers for providing the requirements as defined in these documents.


Public Defender demands amendments to the anti-discrimination law


Public Defender Ucha Nanuashvili is demanding that amendments be made to the anti-discrimination legislation. According to Nanuashvili, there are gaps in the law and amendments are necessary. As the Public Defender told InterpressNews private legal entities are not obliged to inform the Public Defender regarding facts of possible discrimination as per the current law.

Platform for cultural diversity will hold a meeting


On September 5, in Batumi the meeting with representatives of non-governmental organizations will be held. The project will focus on the project "a variety of Georgia - for the formation of a civil society platform for cultural diversity -" Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions " for the implementation of the Convention, NGOs develop a set of recommendations."

G4G provides for the issuance of a grant of US $ 95,000.00. G4G (Governing for Growth) is a five-year project, funded by USAID which is carried out Georgia since August 2014, by Deloitte Consulting LLP.

Minister of Justice speaks about importance of Eurointegration


Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani joins event supported by ACICC mini-grant program. She spoke about importance of Eurointegration in Marneuli. The meeting was held as a part of the project “Ethnic Minorities Forum", organized by "Young barristers". Project is being implemented within the financial support of EU within the framework Eastern Partnership Minorities Network (EaPMN) and ACICC Project initiative programme.

HUMRA – Research

HUMRA – Human Rights Animation. Research Report. From April 15 to May 15, 2014 Analytical Center for Interethnic Cooperation and Consultations (ACICC) conducted research in the framework of the project HUMRA – Human Rights Animation. Target group of the research were teachers and youngsters. Research activities were undertaken separately for each target groups as result of which were interviewed 30 teachers and 100 youngsters.

 Report of the Public Defender of Georgia on Human Rights Situation in Georgia for 2012

On March 30, 2013 Ucha Nanuashvili, the Public Defender of Georgia presented the Report on Human Rights Situation in Georgia for 2012 to the Parliament of Georgia. 
The report addresses wide spectrum of human rights and fundamental freedoms and discusses main tendencies in protecting civil and political as well as economic, social and cultural rights in Georgia. 
The year of 2012 was very important in the history of Georgia. Elections of 2012 marked the first peaceful transition of power since independence.   
Significant improvement in human rights situation in various spheres has been detected since elections in Georgia. However, number of serious problems still remains.
